5 Best Window Installers in Melbourne Picked by Our Staff

Material Quality and Selection: We looked closely at the variety of framing and glazing options each company offers to property owners. It was essential to ensure they provide high-performance solutions that handle local weather shifts perfectly.

Installation Expertise: The technical skill of the team during structural modifications or retrofitting played a massive role in our assessment. We focused on registered builders who show consistent precision and follow local building codes.

Pricing and Transparency: Honest communication regarding project costs and detailed quotes is vital for any renovation budget. We favoured businesses that give clear estimates without throwing in hidden fees later on.

Customer Care: A smooth installation journey requires great communication from the first site visit until the final inspection. We prioritised teams that keep clients informed and resolve any post-project adjustments quickly.

If you want to upgrade an older home, finding specialists like All Window Replacements makes a huge difference. They treat every single residential upgrade with the same level of care they would give their own property.

They also assist hundreds of homeowners every year with tailored solutions built around specific energy efficiency goals.

Because of this high volume of customised work, they rely on a structured installation process that keeps everything highly organised. From the first inspection until the final setup, everything is seamless.

However, you should watch your project timeline carefully, as unexpected scheduling delays can sometimes hold up your other renovation work.

Communication can also occasionally slow down after you pay the initial deposit, so you shouldn’t expect immediate updates every single day.

Pros

  • Specialised replacement focus
  • Energy-efficient glazing choices
  • Registered builder credentials
  • Structured installation process

Cons

  • Potential project timeline delays
  • Slower communication after deposit

Communication was prompt, and installation happened in one day

Cannot thank Luke and the team at All Window replacements enough.  I had very challenging steel windows on my house and All Windows were the only business who even followed through with a quote post site inspection because of the complexity.  Quote was reasonable, so we proceeded and all the way through Luke and his team were amazing.  Communication was prompt, installation happened in one day, the installers were lovely lads, and all rubbish was removed the next day.  Luke even called to remind me to get paint on the window frames.  Highly recommend.

To anyone looking at windows for their home or business

Congratulations to Greg and his team at AWR on their professional and unbelievable customer service. They were fantastic from the original quote to completion of the window installation. I wish all contractors worked on the same principles. AWR are a great organisation to deal with and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking at windows for their home or business.

Getting a seamless end-to-end service is a major win when handling large building projects, and Melbourne Window Company delivers exactly that.

Their 25 years of industry experience give them a massive edge and make them a strong choice for large properties.

Because they handle everything from design to fabrication in-house, they easily retain complete control over the entire quality standard.

They can even manufacture custom aluminium setups locally using premium materials to match your exact structural needs.

The only real downside here is that their product range focuses heavily on aluminium systems.

Knowing this limitation, you won’t find timber or uPVC alternatives for your property here, meaning you’ll need to look elsewhere for those materials.

Pros

  • Over 25 years of experience
  • Complete in-house manufacturing
  • All Australian-made materials
  • Seamless end-to-end service

Cons

  • Limited to aluminium frames

The installation crew completed the job in two days

I selected Melbourne Window Company for my renovation project to replace my old timber windows and a sliding door with aluminium double-glazed ones. The team did a great job – measuring, supply and install, as quoted.

The delivery was on time, the installation crew completed the job in two days.

Also, they took all the rubbish with them.

I highly recommend them!

… I still have some more work to complete my project, but my new windows changed the look and feel of my old home!…

Seamless and high-quality installation

Melbourne Window Company were absolutely brilliant to deal with from beginning to end. We had large stacker doors and a new kitchen window fitted as part of our renovation, and Michael and Andrew were communicative every step of the way. Installation was also seamless and the doors and window are of very high quality, we’re so glad we picked MWC – and they were reasonably priced.

Would definitely use them again.

Perfect match to the rest of our home

I can highly recommend Jamie and Dan from Melbourne Window Services.  We recently had an issue with timber rot on an upstairs awning window. Jamie came out the day after I called to measure and quote. The new window sash and glass have now been installed and the design is a perfect match to the rest of our home. We are very happy with the the job done by Dan who installed the window, and the great customer service by Jamie. We would not hesitate to use and recommend them for any type of timber window restoration.  Lynne and Peter Stoate.

The product quality is out of this world

Jamie’s customer service is out of this world! good old fashion customer service and always give an honest opinion on what needs to be done and not trying to upsell you. He installed it quickly and the product quality, like his service, is out of this world. I will definitely be using him again and recommending him to everyone.

EZ Windows makes ordering your new setups online save a massive amount of time. This innovative supplier also offers a brilliant instant quoting system that lets you customise your order and see pricing immediately.

I really appreciate that they focus heavily on energy-efficient glazing solutions to ensure your space stays comfortable throughout the year.

And to bring these high-performance items directly to you, they supply and install a wide range of custom aluminium frames right across the local metro area.

Sadly, you might experience a rather disorganised installation process with unexpected delays in locking down a final date.

Because of these scheduling hurdles, some projects even required multiple follow-up visits to get the final trims sorted out, so you shouldn’t expect a perfect one-day finish.

Pros

  • Instant online quoting platform
  • Locally manufactured products
  • Energy-efficient glazing options
  • Wide selection of window styles

Cons

  • Occasional scheduling delays
  • Multiple finishing visits required

The result has transformed my home

EZ Windows manufactured and installed aluminium windows for my very old weatherboard house to replace rotten and ill fitting timber doors and windows. The result has transformed my home. As an architect and builder I understand the difficulties encountered in making old new again. I am very happy with the result and would recommend EZ to others.

The windows have been the aesthetic feature of my home

I had my windows installed when house was built 20 years ago, included where large sliding doors and panel of six concertina doors, floor to ceiling. The windows have been the aesthetic feature of my home. I have required very little maintenance, but when required it has been prompt and efficient, which is surely a most valued part of high-quality goods.

Amazing installation team

I highly recommend Facelift for Homes. It’s now been a month since they installed my new hardwood, double glazed courtyard door and window which has made a significant difference reducing heat loss and condensation on windows. Whilst it’s not the cheapest option, it’s definitely worth spending extra for the long term benefits.

The team have been great to work with from initial showroom visit, onsite inspection, quote, check measure, accounts, service delivery and amazing installation team.

PS: They also had to navigate an “Owners Corporation” and Owners Committee approvals!

Thank you Facelift

Kept the place very tidy and safe during installation

We are very happy with the new window and the 3.6mwide x2.1mHigh sliding folding door installed by Facelift this week. They were done by Anthony and Alan & Co. expeditiously with excellent workmanship. The door and window are of very high quality construction complete with excellent locks and hinges. Anthony Alan team also kept the place very tidy and safe during installation and did a very good job removing all the old window and door for a very clean finish at the end of the job with all curtains and drapes restored. We would have no hesitation to recommend Facelift for any similar jobs.
