The 5 Best Audiologists in Melbourne for Better Hearing and Less Guessing

Independence and Impartiality: We prioritised clinics that operate free of manufacturer sales quotas and commission incentives. This freedom ensures you receive device recommendations based purely on your personal needs.

Service Range: A top clinic should offer everything from diagnostic assessments and wax removal to tinnitus support and paediatric evaluations. Accessing these diverse treatments under one roof simplifies your ongoing healthcare.

Pricing and Funding Transparency: We looked for clinics that clearly explain their fees and support subsidised options like Medicare or the Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).

Accessibility and Locations: We evaluated clinic locations across metropolitan Melbourne, along with flexible appointment options like weekend hours. Easy transit access and nearby branches make attending routine follow-ups easy.

Struggling to follow conversations in noisy rooms can feel frustrating and isolating. Getting your hearing checked early protects your quality of life and keeps you connected to loved ones.

Finding the best audiologist in Melbourne gives you access to honest advice and clear treatment plans. Many families also connect these visits with speech therapists to support everyday communication.

Without further ado, here are the reputable clinics across the city that offer dependable hearing care!

I am extremely happy with the service

Receptionist to audiologist customer service was exceptional. I felt clinical audiologist Kubra was very professional and highly knowledgeable in her field. Audiologist took time to answer all my questions and she did not rush to finish the consultation or try to promote any expensive hearing aids for my future use. All in all, I am extremely happy with the service of Ear & hearing Melbourne. If you like real professional service don’t look any ware else.

My problem was particularly stubborn and Cherry gave extremely generously of her time in order to fix it. I left able to hear clearly for the first time in some weeks. Extremely thorough and caring service. Receptionist Priscille was also very friendly and attentive. Would emphatically recommend to anyone with hearing trouble

Customer Reviews

Provided information both prior to and following the assessment

Dr Gerard was very accomplished with the various diagnostic and other tools used to complete the audiology tests. And during the tests he provided information both prior to and following the assessment to let me know what he was doing and how the results were. If you are looking for an audiologist Dr Gerard is highly recommended.

I could not be happier

I saw Gerard today for a hearing check. I have had hearing aids for some years but this was my first time seeing Gerard. He did a great job explaining the steps in the process and what he found. Very reassuring. The final result was that he did a repair on one aid, reprogrammed both and I could not be happier. The costs were reasonable and the outcome beyond my expectations. I no longer find my self saying “what” to my wife!
